SC WITH JAY AND DAN – PRESENTED BY TIM HORTONS is hosted by Dan O’Toole and Jay Onrait, airing weekdays at 12 midnight ET. They bring viewers their trademark charisma and humor combined with a snapshot of the day’s sports events, including highlights, trending stories, and popular segments like the fan-favourite “Ya Blew It!!!” Viewers can also catch O’Toole and Onrait each morning as the midnight broadcast repeats on a loop throughout the morning hours.
Dan O’Toole
Originally from Peterborough, Ontario, O’Toole graduated from Algonquin College in 1996 with a diploma in broadcasting. While in college, O’Toole did play-by-play for the Ottawa 67s. O’Toole moved to Vancouver in 1997 to work as a traffic reporter for CJJR-FM and CFUN-AM radio stations, reporting from a four-seater plane.
Jay Onrait Born in Calgary and raised in Athabasca, Alberta, Onrait first joined TSN in 1996 as an editorial assistant while still in school. After graduating from Ryerson University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Radio and Television Arts, Onrait went on to become the sports director at a television station in Saskatoon, before spending two years as the host of The Big Breakfast on A-Channel in Winnipeg.
